Terms of Service: Hanoi Motorbike Rental & Sale
Please review these terms carefully before using our Hanoi motorbike rental or sale services. By renting or purchasing a motorbike, you agree to these conditions.
1. General Service Agreement
These terms apply to all services provided by "Hanoi Motorbike Rental and Sale" (referred to as "we", "us", or "our"), including motorbike rentals and used motorbike sales in Hanoi. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time.
2. Motorbike Rental Conditions
2.1. Rental Requirements
Renters must provide a valid original Passport or Vietnamese ID (CCCD). For some high-value models, a cash deposit may be required. Renters must be legally eligible to operate a motorbike in Vietnam.
2.2. Rental Agreement & Payment
All rentals require a signed rental agreement. Payment for the rental period is due in advance. For long-term motorbike rental, monthly payments can be arranged. We accept cash (VND) and bank transfers.
2.3. Renter's Responsibility (Damage, Loss, Theft)
The renter is fully responsible for the motorbike from the time of pickup until its return.
- Damage: The renter is liable for all costs associated with damage to the motorbike during the rental period, including parts, labor, and loss of rental income.
- Loss/Theft: In the event of theft or total loss, the renter is liable for the full market value of the motorbike. We strongly recommend always locking the motorbike securely and parking in designated areas.
- Traffic Violations: The renter is responsible for all traffic violations and fines incurred during the rental period.
2.4. Maintenance and Breakdown
We provide well-maintained motorbikes. For rentals over one month, we provide free periodic maintenance. In case of a breakdown, please contact us immediately for assistance. Do not attempt major repairs without our authorization. Flat tires are the responsibility of the renter.
3. Used Motorbike Sale Conditions
3.1. Paperwork and Ownership
All motorbikes for sale include the official "Blue Card" (Cavet) and necessary paperwork for legal ownership. We assist with the ownership transfer process. The transfer process and any associated fees are handled according to Vietnamese law.
3.2. Bike Condition & Warranty
All used motorbikes are sold in "as-is" condition after being fully serviced. We ensure the bike is in good running order at the time of sale. We offer a limited engine warranty for a specified period (e.g., 30 days) on most models, covering major internal engine failure. This warranty does not cover wearable parts (tires, brakes, chain) or damage caused by misuse or accidents.
3.3. Buy-Back Guarantee
We offer a buy-back guarantee for motorbikes sold by us. The buy-back price will be determined based on the bike's condition and the duration of use.
4. Privacy Policy
We collect personal information (name, passport/ID, contact details) solely for the purpose of the rental or sale agreement. We do not share your data with third parties, except as required by law. Please see our full Privacy Policy for more details.
5. Limitation of Liability
Riding a motorbike in Hanoi carries significant risks. We are not responsible for any injury, death, or property damage sustained by the renter or any third party. The renter assumes all risks associated with operating the motorbike. We do not provide personal medical or liability insurance.
