The deposit is fully refunded when the bike is returned in good condition.
No, we believe in 100% transparent pricing. The price we quote you is the final price for the rental period. It includes the motorbike and 1-2 high-quality helmets. Any potential costs, such as for delivery to your address or significant damage (beyond normal wear and tear), will be clearly communicated to you upfront in the contract.
Rental Policy & Long-Term
We specialize in long-term motorbike rentals (one month or more), which is the most popular choice for expats in Hanoi. This option offers a significantly discounted rate compared to daily or weekly rentals. We also provide free monthly maintenance support for our long-term clients. If your bike needs an oil change or check-up, just bring it to our shop in Long Bien.
Our motorbikes are all well-maintained Honda models, so breakdowns are extremely rare. If you experience a mechanical issue (not due to an accident or flat tire), please call us immediately. We provide 24/7 support via phone and Zalo. We will either guide you to a trusted repair shop or, if the problem is serious, arrange for a replacement bike. For flat tires, you can easily get them patched at any local "Sửa Xe" shop for a very low price (around 20,000 VND).
Documents & License
To legally drive a motorbike in Vietnam, you must have a valid Vietnamese driving license OR an International Driving Permit (IDP) that is compliant with Vietnamese law (e.g., a 1968 convention IDP) paired with your home country's license. While you can still rent a bike from us with just your passport (for the deposit), you are fully responsible for all interactions with the police and any legal consequences of driving without a valid license.
We provide you with a copy of the motorbike's "Blue Card" (Cavet - registration paper) and a signed rental contract. This is the standard procedure for rentals in Hanoi. You must keep this copy and the contract with you at all times while driving. This proves you are in legal possession of the scooter.
Delivery & Pick-up
Yes, we can arrange delivery to your location (e.g., in Tay Ho, Old Quarter, or Ba Dinh) for a small fee, especially for long-term rentals. However, we generally recommend picking up the bike at our shop in Long Bien. This allows you to inspect the bike, test-ride it, and complete the paperwork in person. Our shop is very easy to find and close to the Old Quarter.
